Ever have one of those days where things are going great, so you whistle to yourself while you walk, and the second you blink you walk right into a lamppost?  Non-literal example, but that's where writing took me today.

Put up another page today, this time featuring the work I've done outside Two-Bit Pictures, from making improvised films with { Empty Set } to my years with Broken Wall Films, all the way up to my current tech and acting work I've done this summer.  Go take a look!

Our Story So Far

Just added a page showcasing Two-Bit Pictures' films so far, so head on over and check 'em out!  They're our seven competition films thus far (six produced in 48 hours or less, one in 72), and more details will be posted there and on the blog in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned!

Spectacle and Song, Music and Muse

This weekend I had an opportunity to do something I never had before as a filmmaker.  But I'll get to that later this week; tonight I want to talk a little about how I write.

The Long Way

I was asked just the other day why my uncle (who by all accounts has "made it" in the entertainment biz) hasn't brought me into the fold in Los Angeles.  My answer was simple, straightforward, and complete in how I felt about it:

"Because I don't want him to."

Action!

Well then, here we are.  A new blog for a new day.  And it is a new day, really.  I've had short-lived blogs before about whatever happened to be on my mind that day, but I have yet to really get into what I'm passionate about, and that's filmmaking.

Only five short years ago, I would never have even considered a career in film, and yet today it's all I can think about.  A dream I didn't even know I had, slowly being realized.  One of my strongest passions is storytelling, and this blog will serve to weave for you my tale.  Join me!
